As victory in modern warfare increasingly depends on technology and cyber systems, the Ethiopian National Defense Force is also undergoing transformation in line with these fundamental principles.
Through various reform initiatives undertaken over the past years, the ENDF has registered tangible changes in training, organizational structure, and the use of technology.
Drone technology, modern information systems, and digital communication systems are among the key indicators of this transformation.
Throughout its history, Ethiopia has defended its independence against foreign invasions and has been a leading force in Africa’s anti-colonial movement.
Going beyond a history written in blood and sacrifice, the Ethiopian National Defense Force continues to serve as the nation’s shield and a formidable force working to build a prosperous Ethiopia of tomorrow on the foundations of knowledge and technology.
To realize this vision, the country is taking extensive measures to prepare itself for future global competition.
In this regard, Ethiopia has begun laying the foundations for nuclear technology, recognizing the importance of preparing the country for the fields of nuclear technology, space, and artificial intelligence, which are expected to be central to global competition in the future.
