Throughout its history, Ethiopia has a proud record of overcoming numerous political challenges and external pressures with resilience, successfully bringing to fruition the great dreams it has embarked upon. In this era as well, Ethiopia has continued to strengthen its relentless journey of overcoming the discouraging challenges it faces and changing the course of its history through its own capabilities.
Today, having emerged from a storm of challenges, Ethiopia has successfully completed the historic and intergenerational National Dialogue process that it had undertaken to ensure comprehensive peace and lasting reconciliation.
This manifestation of resilience and self-reliance is not limited to the political sphere. It is also being demonstrated in practice through a major movement toward food self-sufficiency. In particular, the remarkable achievements recorded in irrigated wheat production, cluster farming, and the Green Legacy initiatives have accelerated Ethiopiaโs journey from a hand-to-mouth system toward securing its food sovereignty.

Ethiopiaโs ability not only to eliminate the need for imported wheat but also to supply wheat to foreign markets is another development achievement that has demonstrated to the world that Ethiopians can achieve remarkable results through their own land and labor.
Another key testament to this journey of resilience is the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) project. Ethiopians have collectively confronted the diplomatic, economic, and political pressures that came from various directions and, through their own capacity and collective strength, have succeeded in bringing the dam project to completion. This is a living example that has demonstrated to the world the natural determination of Ethiopians to finish what they have started, regardless of the challenges they encounter.

Just like the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, Ethiopia has also organized and successfully concluded a National Dialogue process that brought its children together around the table to determine the countryโs internal affairs through its own means. Although numerous challenges repeatedly emerged in attempts to derail the dialogue process, the process ultimately succeeded by reviving the unwavering spirit of unity and resilience among Ethiopians. This step has put into practice the great principle of resolving internal problems through internal capacity, knowledge, and understanding.

This historic dialogue process is a great path of hope, intended to heal the wounds of the past, strengthen shared values, and lay a solid foundation for building a prosperous, respected, and dignified Ethiopia of tomorrow.
Through these achievements, Ethiopia has once again demonstrated to the world that it is a great nation that overcame challenges with resilience in its history, continues to overcome all challenges today, and will write a vibrant new chapter of its greatness tomorrow.
