Addis Ababa, widely regarded as the capital of global diplomacy, continues to reinforce its standing as a premier destination for international conferences.
State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Berhanu Tsegaye, held productive preliminary discussions today with a delegation led byJean Kaseya, Director General of Africa CDC, focusing on preparations for the 5th International Public Health Conference in Africa, which will be hosted in Addis Ababa.
In recognition of Ethiopia’s strong hosting capacity and exceptional hospitality, the Africa CDC has selected Addis Ababa as the venue for this major international gathering, which is expected to welcome over 30,000 in-person participants.
Ethiopia attaches high importance to this decision. On the occasion, Ambassador Berhanu reaffirmed the Government’s full commitment to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure the successful organization of the conference as to Ministry of foreign affairs of Ethiopia reported it.
