Addis Media Network (AMN) has conducted a discussion session with journalists and staff members on its 2026 performance report and the 2027 budget plan, providing a platform to review achievements, address challenges, and outline future priorities.
AMN is a metropolitan public media institution committed to contributing to the socio-economic development of Addis Ababa while serving as a key bridge between the city administration and its residents. Through its two television channels, FM radio station, digital media platforms, and print publications, AMN delivers comprehensive news and programs on a wide range of issues in both local and international languages. The institution continues to strive to inform, educate, and engage diverse audiences through accurate, timely, and impactful media content.
During the session, AMN Strategic Director Abebe Dessalign presented the institution’s annual performance report, highlighting major achievements, operational progress, and key milestones recorded throughout the fiscal year.

Following the presentation, journalists and staff members raised various questions, concerns, and suggestions to senior management, including Chief Executive Officer of AMN Solomon Dibaba, on issues related to the institution’s performance, working environment, and future direction.
Senior management officials responded to the questions and feedback provided by employees, offering explanations and insights on the issues raised and reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the institution.

Speaking during the annual performance review, AMN CEO Solomon Dibaba said the organization is focused on enhancing its technological capacity, advancing digital innovation, and strengthening its position as a leading metropolitan media institution.
The CEO emphasized that AMN is embracing modern technologies and upgrading its media platforms to better serve audiences and expand its reach.
Solomon also called on journalists and staff members to maintain a strong commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and excellence, urging them to work together to further enhance the institution’s performance and public impact.

The event concluded with the recognition of dedicated journalists and staff members who have demonstrated outstanding commitment, professionalism, and valuable contributions to the success of the media institution.
The recognition honored employees who have consistently upheld journalistic ethics, delivered reliable and impactful information, and played a significant role in advancing AMN’s mission of serving society.
The awards also acknowledged the dedication, teamwork, and resilience of staff members whose efforts have contributed to the institution’s growth and continued service to the public.
