Speaking in its second regular session of the house of peoples representative meeting, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed(PhD) said Ethiopia had been implementing Agricultural led economy policy for many years.
understanding one sector economy policy couldn’t bring development and prosperity to the nation, the incumbent government has implemented multi-sectoral economic strategy which is pivotal to ensure holistic change in the nation.
The prime minister noted that the homegrown economic reform has brought remarkable achievement in the country.
“In the homegrown economic reform agenda, agriculture is one among economic pillars of the nation,” Prime Minister stated

Ethiopia’s multi sectoral economy includes agriculture, industry, mining, tourism, and technology.
Agriculture is an input for industry. Similarly, mining is also an input for industry. Industry also creates a machine that accelerates the agricultural development of the country. Moreover, the industry sector also creates the technology that enables to explore the untapped mining sector of Ethiopia.
In its second regular session of the house of peoples representatives meeting, Prime Minister Abiy stated the implementation of the multi sectoral economy policy by the incumbent government is bringing remarkable results in all sectors.
“These days, the government is working with Public People Partnership, Public Private Partnership, civil society organizations and others to ensure the prosperity of the nation,” Abiy Ahmed stated

Prime Minister reaffirmed that Ethiopia has achieved a number of issues via Public People Partnership. For instance, Ethiopia has planted 48 Billion seedlings at the end of this concluded fiscal year.
This is the biggest afforestation in the world. If we value one seedling by one dollar. Therefore it is possible to say that Ethiopia invested 48 Billion dollar for climate Change.
“No country could provide 48 Billion dollars in any ways. However, mobilizing 25 million people, Ethiopia has achieved planting 48 Billion seedlings at the end of the concluded fiscal year,” Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Stated.
