Ethiopia, Mozambique Urged to Strengthen Cooperation in the Investment Sector.

The President of the Republic of Mozambique, Daniel Francisco Chapo, and his delegation held discussions with the Ethiopian Investment Commission, state-owned business institutions, and members of the Ethiopian business community.

The discussion focused on strengthening trade and investment relations between the two countries, expanding joint business opportunities, and promoting private sector cooperation.

On the occasion, Ethiopian Investment Commission Commissioner Zeleke Temesgen(PhD) presented Ethiopia’s ongoing macroeconomic reforms, the country’s favorable investment climate, and investment opportunities available across various sectors.

Zeleke also highlighted the future prospects for cooperation between Ethiopia and Mozambique in trade and investment, emphasizing the strong potential for joint collaboration.

President Daniel Francisco Chapo reaffirmed Mozambique’s commitment to further enhancing economic and business cooperation between the two countries.

Representatives from Ethiopian Investment Holdings, Ethiopian Airlines, the Minerals Corporation, banks, and other institutions also participated in the program.
