Addis Ababa City is holding the 3rd City Council meeting 1st regular session of 5th Year tenure at Adwa Memorial Museum Hall
During the 3rd city council meeting 1st regular session of 5th year tenure members of the council have raised a number of social, economic and political questions to the mayor of the city.
Responding to the questions related to peace and security of the city, the Mayor stated that the city administration always involves the residents of the city in all initiatives to ensure enduring peace and security in the city.
Mayor of Addis Ababa City Adanech Abiebie said residents of the city have played significant role to host over 150 continental and international summits without security problems in Addis Ababa.
Frankly speaking, the city administration always hold talks with the resident of the city on ways how to implement what ever kind of projects in the city. The residents of the city are always decision makers and part and parcels of the city administration.
The mayor reaffirmed that there are no projects that have been done without involving the stakeholders and residents of the city.
The Mayor remarks this during the 1st regular session of the 5th year of the 3rd Addis Ababa City Council meeting.
