The Addis Ababa City Council is currently holding its 5th-year, 2nd regular session at the Adwa Victory Memorial.
Addressing council members, Mayor Adanech Abeje highlighted that the city administration has created over 195,000 permanent job opportunities in just the past six months.
During the session, Mayor Adanech also presented the city administration’s six-month performance report to the council.
According to the report, the city has achieved remarkable results in generating sustainable employment opportunities for its residents.
Mayor Adanech further noted that the city’s job creation initiatives surpassed expectations, achieving a performance rate of 109 percent against the planned targets.
