The Addis Ababa Tourism Commission has announced plans to organize a gastronomy festival dedicated to showcasing Ethiopian cuisine.
The gastronomy-themed festival, part of this month’s public celebrations, is being organized by the Commission in collaboration with Golden Group Hospitality.
The unique event will take place this coming Saturday and Sunday and will bring together Ethiopian food exhibitors, food ingredient suppliers, hotels, and more than 100 businesses operating in the hospitality and food sector.

Speaking exclusively to Addis Media Network (AMN), Addis Ababa Tourism Commissioner Hundie Kebede stated that the festival is being organized in connection with the Timket (Epiphany) celebrations and is expected to attract a large number of foreign visitors. More than 20,000 people are anticipated to attend the event.
The festival will be held at the Millennium Hall on January 16 and 17 and will be open to the public for two days. Numerous international guests are also expected to participate.
