Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebie has announced the inauguration of the 8th Addis Mesob One-Stop Digital Government Service Center, marking another milestone in the city’s efforts to modernize public service delivery.
In a message shared on her social media page, the Mayor stated that, with the blessing of Almighty God, the center was inaugurated a day after the successful conclusion of Ethiopia’s 7th General Election.
According to Mayor Adanech, the new center has been established in Kolfe Keranio Sub-City as part of the city’s commitment to improving access to efficient and citizen-centered public services.

The seven-storey facility is equipped with modern technology and features 96 service windows capable of serving customers simultaneously. The center has commenced operations by providing 114 services through 22 government institutions.
The Mayor noted that the facility has been constructed to high standards, offering a clean, modern, and inclusive environment. It is fully accessible to persons with disabilities, includes a childcare facility, and provides a comfortable working and service environment for both employees and residents.
She further explained that additional services will be integrated into the Mesob Center in the future to ensure faster, more efficient, and equitable service delivery for all residents.

Addressing the public, Mayor Adanech emphasized that the Addis Mesob One-Stop Digital Government Service Centers are designed to free citizens from lengthy procedures, cumbersome bureaucracy, and excessive paperwork that have long hindered access to government services.
Congratulating residents on the achievement, she encouraged them to obtain services from any Mesob Center convenient to them, regardless of where they live in the city.

The Mayor also extended her heartfelt appreciation to all individuals and institutions whose contributions made the construction and operational launch of the center possible.
