President Taye Atske Selassie held discussions with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres.
The two sides discussed peace and security issues in the region during a meeting held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The Secretary-General praised Ethiopia’s progress toward sustainable development and affirmed that the United Nations would strengthen its cooperation with Ethiopia.
They also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation to ensure sustainable development in the Horn of Africa.
