Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) said that winter farming in the Bale Zone has recorded good performance despite significant concerns over rainfall shortages this season.
He noted that the results were achieved through the advance preparations undertaken by the government and the public.
“We have reviewed the performance of winter farming in the Bale Zone. Although there was a significant concern over rain shortage this winter, a good performance has been recorded due to the pre-preparation work done by the government and the public,” PM Abiy said.
“In order for our economy to remain resilient and withstand both man-made and natural challenges, preparing in advance and expanding options is a must,” the Prime Minister stated.
